I didn't start in a boardroom.
I started on a job site.
My grandfather built a business with concrete and calluses. My father carried that same work ethic into the heat of a Las Vegas summer. I watched both of them build something from nothing.
That's where I learned what it means to solve real problems.
The moment that changed everything.
I was on a job site in my early twenties. Three of my father's workers stopped me.
They spoke to me in Spanish. They told me: don't settle for this. You have something we didn't have. The language, the education, the access. Use it.
I never forgot that conversation.
"Opportunity is not evenly distributed.
But knowledge can be."
It became the foundation of Career Downloads, my podcast, my platform, and my purpose. Because those men were right.
That's why I share everything I know. Openly, clearly, and without gatekeeping.
20 years of sitting at every seat of the table.
I started my career on the help desk. Then the server room. Then the data center. Then the enterprise. Then the cloud.
That's what I call the 4 Seats of Every Tech Decision: the buyer, the seller, the implementer, and the advisor.
Most people spend a career in one seat. I've sat in all four. That changes how you see every problem.

The wrong solution to the right problem is still the wrong solution. Ask better questions first.

The business that understands its technology will always outperform the one that's afraid of it.

I live in Las Vegas with my family.
I grew up working construction. I became the first in my family to navigate the corporate tech world. Now I spend my time making sure others don't have to navigate it alone.
When I'm not working, you'll find me with my family and Rottweilers, Poppy & Brutux. Or figuring out how to translate something complicated into something someone's grandmother could understand.
That's the real test of clarity.
